Desert Swim School offers two types of swim lessons:

1. Backyard (at your home)

2. Group lessons at one of our locations

 

All lessons are sold in 6-lesson sessions.

• A session is 6 thirty minute lessons 

• A lesson is your individual lesson

 

Informed Consent and Waiver/Release of Liability:

As the parent or legal guardian of the child listed on this application, I agree and understand that swimming can be a hazardous activity and that there are risks inherent in the sport of swimming. I also recognize the fact that no one can drown-proof my child and that there is no substitution for eye-to-eye contact when my child is around water. I agree to allow my child to participate in Desert Swim school swim lessons and hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Waterworks On Wheels, Inc. DBA Desert Swim School, its coaches, instructors, coordinators, directors, and additional employees, against any liability resulting from any injury that may occur to my child while participating in Desert Swim School swim lessons. I also agree to indemnify Desert Swim School for any damages incurred arising from any claims, demand, action or cause of action by my child. Desert Swim School assumes no responsibility for any personal property placed in or about the facility where swim lessons are conducted.

Payment Policy: 

Desert Swim School clients enjoy the benefit of NO contracts.

All fees and policies are agreed to at the time of registration.

Refund Policy:

• No refunds will be issued.

• Eligible cancellations will be issued as account credit only (less applicable fees).

Backyard (At-Home) Lessons

Due to instructor travel and route planning, schedule changes significantly impact our business.

• Rescheduling Within 4 Days of Your Session Start Date:
  Your lessons will be rescheduled, and a $50 processing fee will apply.

• Canceling a Session:
  No refunds will be issued. Your remaining lessons will be issued as a credit for a future session, and a $50 processing fee will apply.

• Lesson Cancellation Within 24 Hours (Emergency):
  A $25 fee will apply. Emergencies are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Group Lessons (Our Locations)

• If you are unable to attend a scheduled lesson, email or call is required in advance.

• Makeups:
  One makeup lesson will be offered per session, based on availability.
  If you are unable to attend your scheduled makeup, it will be forfeited.

• Session Changes:
  The same session rescheduling and cancellation policies listed above apply to group lessons.​

Photo/Video Release: 

I understand that photos and/or video are occasionally taken at Desert Swim School and that any photo and/or video taken of my child may be used for Desert Swim School publicity purposes.
